It was my first time visiting Lisbon but I felt right at home because of the Ponte 25 de Abril. Designed by the same company, this bridge and the Golden Gate look almost identical! The only difference was that in Lisbon, the thick fog was missing so it felt a little less like home. I was especially enjoying a view after taking a ferry to a restaurant I found on tik tok called Restaurante Ponto Final, which had the Ponte 25 de Abril as the backdrop. Here, I enjoyed Lisbon's famous codfish ("bacalhau").
The real star of Lisbon was the Pastel de Nata, which is a small, warm custard pastry. I think I had at least 10 during my entire stay in Portugal, but each time I made sure to try a different bakery to try and find the best one. I came to find that the original bakery, Pastéis de Belem near the Jerónimos Monestary, made the finest Pastel de Nata.
